Cathedral
The irony of the Cathedral is that the narrator has stereotypical attitude towards blind people and starts to understanding and feel sorry for the blind man. And look further in the story the narrator starts to understanding and feel sorry for his own blindness. So the blind man opens the narrator mind and shows what a cathedral looks like through his eyes, even though he can't see. The cathedral symbolizes the narrators prejudice. "I found my self thinking what a pitiful life life this woman must have led. A woman whose husband could never read the expression on her face". The narrators voice is definitely male because he makes prejudice comparisons between him and the blind men relations between their wife's. The cathedral had a perfect ending because the narrator was blind mentally and now he could see.

the promopt says to choose one of the four.
3) Depth of thought, either in asking insightful questions(not rhetorical ones) or insightful comments that illustrate complexity of the text
4) Evidence from the text that supports your insights and not plot summary
5) You avoid summarizing the plot, rather use the plot to illustrate your point
